You are not alone.

While they may not tell you, there are people all around you who have been struggling in some part of their lives for years. Many of them have learned that we all need someone to walk with us through life’s dark valleys.

Why put off getting help?

Real problems require real solutions.

People come to us with all kinds of problems; marriage troubles, family conflicts, addictions, sexual issues, emotional struggles such as depression or anger, etc.  None of these difficulties is new, unique, or beyond hope.

Our loving Creator has given us everything we need to begin repairing our damaged lives. God has shown us that this involves knowing Him in a personal way, and seeking to live a life that is pleasing to Him, through the truths He supplied in His word, the Bible.

The Bible does not promise us a problem-free life, but it does have answers to help you deal with whatever you might be facing. When counselees put their faith in God’s promises and yield to His instructions they can experience significant progress in just a few months.

Our Approach

We provide compassionate Christian counseling based on the teachings of the Bible that offers hope to the whole person. God made us as physical, emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual beings, and He has much to say about all of these aspects of our personalities in His Word.

Qualified Counselors

All of our counselors have at least a masters degree and have gone through a rigorous training program in Christian counseling. They are qualified and experienced in dealing with the entire range of counseling issues.

The Counselor-Counselee Relationship

Counseling at Royal Palm is a two-way street. Our counselors are here to serve you, but there is work that you must do if you want to see results. Mutual expectations are involved in the counselor-counselee relationship. You can expect our counselors to be caring and respectful. Everything you share will be held in strict confidence except where, in the counselor’s judgment, there is an ethical or legal requirement to involve others (e.g. criminal activity or when the counselee is a minor). We expect counselees to be truthful and to complete their homework assignments.

Counseling Fees

Royal Palm Christian Counseling Center is a non-profit service and does not receive any government funding.  We depend upon private donations and the fees paid by counselees to continue operating. Since it is our mission to provide counseling that is as affordable as possible, we do not wish to add any stress or hardship to you.  For that reason, we have developed a sliding scale to help you determine your counseling fee. Click on the Financial Policy to the right to see the counseling fee scale to determine the cost for you. Payment is expected at the time of the counseling session.

Note: If paying the minimum fee for your income bracket will result in a genuine financial hardship, please do not assume that you do not qualify for counseling at Royal Palm, but instead, please consult with our staff. We are willing to explore various options with you.
