Mission, Vision, Beliefs

Our Mission

To provide Christian counseling, counselor training, seminars and workshops on a wide range of topics related to the Christian life, and services that support local churches, as affordably as possible.

Our Vision

To provide every Christian with opportunities to become equipped with the tools in God’s Word to edify His people through counseling and training at multiple locations in Southwest Florida and beyond.

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. It contains 39 books in its Old Testament and 27 books in its New Testament—all of which are equally inspired by God’s Holy Spirit, and therefore provide inerrant, authoritative and sufficient teaching for living the Christian life.

God

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each plays a vital role in the Christian life.

Jesus Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man; that He was born of the virgin, Mary; that He lived a completely sinless life; that He worked many miracles; that He died on a cross as our substitute, paying the price of our sins, appeasing the wrath of God against sin, and reconciling us to Himself through His shed blood; that He rose bodily from the grave; that He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father; that He will personally and physically return in power and glory.

The Holy Spirit

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. This regeneration is also known as the new birth, and those who are regenerated are said be born again.

Salvation

We believe that, because of our sinfulness, it is impossible to be accepted by God on the basis of our good deeds or anything else we do. Instead, all who put their faith completely in Christ, and what He accomplished for the forgiveness of sins, are justified—declared righteous—as a free gift of God’s grace.

Progress in the Christian Life

We believe that the Holy Spirit comes to live within all Christians in order to lead them into ever-increasing faith, understanding, and personal intimacy with God, all of which lead to greater efforts toward obedience, growing holiness, and spiritual joy. This is known as the process of sanctification, and will be completed after physical death, when the Spirit glorifies us together with Christ.

Christian Fellowship and Unity

We believe that commitment to a local body of believers is necessary for Christian maturity, and that there is a true spiritual unity of believers that transcends denominational boundaries which we ought to observe and honor in practical ways wherever and whenever possible.

After This Life

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved will be raised to enjoy eternal life with God, whose those who are lost will be raised to eternal damnation.
